Getting Licensed
To get a Real Estate Sales Associates license in the state of Florida, you must complete the following requirements:

  • Successfully complete the 63 hour Pre-Licensing Course

The course can be taken live in person or online. An online class is available through TheCEShop. The final exam is comprised of 100 questions with a minimum score of 70% to pass.

  • Submit the Sales Associate License Application and Fingerprints to DBPR Division of Real Estate.

  • Schedule and Pass the Real Estate Sales Associate Licensing Exam

Once the FL DBPR processes and approves your licensing application they will notify you that you are eligible to sit for the state exam. All exams are scheduled and administered through PearsonVue. Once you have passed the state exam you are issued a license and are able to start underneath a Broker. Your license will remain in Inactive status until you have selected a Broker to affiliate with.
